Sand Point Lake Accomodations

Valhalla

The name Valhalla comes from the name for Viking heaven. The cabin feature such amenities as 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 10-14 people, a 3/4 bath and full kitchen. A wood stove provides heat to make this the most comfortable cabin for early spring and late fall. This cabin offers the best view of the lake to be had. (This cabin is tobacco and alcohol free)

Eagle's Landing

This is the main cabin and summer home of Jim and Ramona Stolee. Kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are available. There is a screened in porch for mosquito-free fresh air enjoyment. Use of this cabin requires special permission.

Cabinette

This cabin was completed in the summer of 1998. It features a spacious bedroom for four+ with an attached 1/2 bath. The pantry and tool shed are attached to this building.

The Sauna

This wood-fired authentic sauna seats 8 or more and has easy steps to reach the lake to cool off the Scandinavian way. There is a shower (with hot water if the Sauna is stoked) and sink. A queen bed plus hammock make accommodations for 2 to 4. Another screened in porch is available for sunset watching.

The Annex

This small bedroom has room for three but with cots can accommodate up to 5. It is very quiet and away from the other cabins yet has the shortest walk to the biffy.

The Observatory

Also known as the biffy, this historic landmark is a must see. It features a lovely view of the woods and nature (hence its name). Its collection of humorous cards and notices makes every trip enjoyable. It also is probably the only three-holer on the lake. (This site is a nuclear free zone).
