Florida Fishing Trip
| Wednesday afternoon while everyone was eating at a sandwich restaurant, Alair decided to try on hats. |
With the arrival of Marc's family, we had a whole new group to try out the pool. |
| On Thursday morning, Andrew took a group of men on a fishing trip. He chartered this particular boat but it is also possible to just show up at the dock at 6 am and get in on a larger group boat. |
Marc got right into the action and caught a large Spanish Mackerel. |
| Andrew caught this little shark. It has a sucker on its head to attach to other fish and hitch a ride. Erik is demonstrating how this works. |
Andrew's father-in-law Ken got in quite a battle with his mackerel. |
| I got into my own fight as well. |
Andrew caught a red snapper. Too bad it is out of season (he released it again). |
| Marc caught a nice one too. |
Here is our catch of the day. It was enough to feed 20 people at least two big meals. |
| We went to Pat O'Brian's to watch the sunset. |
Kendra with her father, Ken, and his wife Brenda. |
| This boat passed by while we were partying. On a close study of the sail, I found the letters ATS! |
On our way over to the Boathouse restaurant, Erik found his own little delicacy. |
| The Boathouse is decorated in scow chic with a bit of money on the walls for ornamentation. |
There was live music and Gratia and Alair hit the floor. |
| Andrew and Grandma Rose cut a rug as well. |
