June 7-8 Trip North
| Becky and I headed north to Sand Point for the weekend. There has been a lot of rain complicating already high water levels so we thought we would go up so they could have at least one weekend of perfect weather. The water level is at the level of most people's docks (including ours). If it goes any higher, a lot of people will lose docks and cribbings. |

As you can see, some have already lost their cribbings. Dad was hoping Wade would be up to help him repair his dock but Wade had more important problems having lost most of his earthly possessions in a fire. |
| Becky and I went fishing on Big David. She got the catch of the day. |

On Sunday we went to the Redhorse River and Becky caught the first fish of the season. I caught the second and we had a nice fish dinner. |
| Here is the best evidence of the high water. I can usually jump onto my floating dock from shore. Wade's boat is supposedly safely on high ground. |

The wet conditions have been great for the Morel mushrooms. They are found easily everywhere. I just wish we had the guts to eat them. |
