Tom Visits Valhalla (page 2)

We had perfect weather all week. Monday was warm so we spent some time on the beach and also waterskiing.

This is how they get me clean when I start to smell of fish.

Tom still had enough energy in the evening to swim across the bay.

Becky watched to be sure he didn't drown.

Tom was busy restocking our woodpile all weekend. First he stacked the wood we had split, then he chopped all the remaining dried wood. On Tuesday he cut up a tree and hauled it to the woodpile to replace the wood he had split.

Here is the tree.

He was tired after all that work.

Becky picked a quart of blueberries and made us a delicious pie.

Once the old geezers went to bed, Tom entertained himself with a puzzle.

This is the kind of perfect weather we had to put up with.

On Tom's last day at the cabin, we took a fishing trip to Big and Little David Lakes.

Tom traditionally attends a Twins game with his Grandma Bakken.

We celebrated Grandma's birthday a couple weeks early.

Tom brought his folks along this time. We went out to dinner after but then I had to head home to my double workload again (My partner only lasted a year and has now gone home to Ohio).
