August 2008 Valhalla Trip
| After the Air Show, Tom and I headed up to Valhalla. Jake and his lady friend Becky were up there with Wade. We went fishing and had great luck. |

Of course, that meant Tom had a lot of work to do fileting the fish. |
| We taught Becky to play Baloney. She held her own against the boys. |
|
|
On Tuesday morning we went for a hike on the Garbage Bay trail. Grandpa had put up a few signs. |
| Tom and Ettrick made it all the way with me. There was an area of the trail that had fallen into disrepair but we opened it up again. Ettrick found a stick and coerced Tom to play. |

| In the afternoon we went skiing (sorry no pictures - I had to drive). Later Jake showed us his moves on the cliffs. |

Tom showed Becky the high dive. |

Wednesday morning Tom and I went trolling in Little David. We stopped at the Boy Scout Camp and took a tour of their facilities. When we got to the back of Little David near the lily pads we had a run of fish until we were satisfied to head home. We picked up Becky (Stolee) in the afternoon and said goodbye to Wade, Jake and Becky. |
