Kendra and Andrew Wedding

December 1st was the big day for Andrew and Kendra to tie the knot. Becky and I headed down in the wee hours of the morning.

The happy couple were waiting to greet us on our arrival. Andrew had worked on the F-15 demo team in the morning so was still in uniform.

Natalie and Echo wanted to be there as well. We found them sunning themselves at the hotel when we got checked in.

We headed to the courthouse for the big event.

There were plenty of us there to make sure they went through with it. Kendra's Mom Gay, Grandfather Walt and (step-)Grandmother Nonny as well as Dad Ken and step-mom Brenda were witnesses.

The recorder told Andrew he had the right to remain silent. Any thing he had to say would be used against him.

They said their vows without stammering.

When she said he could kiss the bride, Andrew was so quick to swoop in that my camera couldn't even focus in time.

Gay and I were the official witnesses.

Traditional carrying of the bride across the threshold.

They opened a few presents from those present.

We met up with Echo and Natalie again at Fleming's - a fine steak restaurant.

The food was excellent and the service top tier.

Andrew and Kendra took us for a scenic tour on Tuesday. We started at Seaside Village where they had taken their engagement photos.

The sun is shining on their marriage.

Somehow, Santa knows to bring presents to Florida even though there is no snow.

Of course, we found a quilt store before the trip was over.
