Kendra and Andrew Wedding
| December 1st was the big day for Andrew and Kendra to tie the knot. Becky and I headed down in the wee hours of the morning. |
The happy couple were waiting to greet us on our arrival. Andrew had worked on the F-15 demo team in the morning so was still in uniform. |
| Natalie and Echo wanted to be there as well. We found them sunning themselves at the hotel when we got checked in. |
We headed to the courthouse for the big event. |
| There were plenty of us there to make sure they went through with it. Kendra's Mom Gay, Grandfather Walt and (step-)Grandmother Nonny as well as Dad Ken and step-mom Brenda were witnesses. |
The recorder told Andrew he had the right to remain silent. Any thing he had to say would be used against him. |
| They said their vows without stammering. |
When she said he could kiss the bride, Andrew was so quick to swoop in that my camera couldn't even focus in time. |
| Gay and I were the official witnesses. |
Traditional carrying of the bride across the threshold. |
| They opened a few presents from those present. |
We met up with Echo and Natalie again at Fleming's - a fine steak restaurant. |
| The food was excellent and the service top tier. |
Andrew and Kendra took us for a scenic tour on Tuesday. We started at Seaside Village where they had taken their engagement photos. |
| The sun is shining on their marriage. |
Somehow, Santa knows to bring presents to Florida even though there is no snow. |
| Of course, we found a quilt store before the trip was over. |
